Flanagan's "The Ruins of Gorlan"
Just finished John Flanagan's "The Ruins of Gorlan," Book 1 of the "Ranger's Apprentice Series." Enjoyed it. The setting is nothing special, Tolkienesque Knights with a dash of Harry Potter thrown in, but the action flows nicely and it is fun to see Will learn to be one of the mysterious Rangers. Great action sequences and excellent introduction to the obviously on-going fight against the villain Morgararth, He Who Should Not Be Mentioned. Started off fairly slowly but found myself flipping pages rapidly by end.

Sup guys
